July 13th to 15th, Niels Taatgen visited the CogWorks lab to debut the new Swift-coded PRIMs (ne ACTransfer). Those looking to do the same can check outhttps://github.com/ntaatgen/ACTransferand follow the tutorial to examine how his modifications to the architecture allow models to learn some task-general information.
The culmination of his visit was a 9-hour road trip with lab members Catherine, Matt, and John to Pittsburgh to attend the annual ACT-R Workshop at CMU. All survived.
